We are starting to run out of things to say about the achievements of KVRIM. Every time we post one thing, he goes and does something else, continuing to prove why he is not only THE best Hip Hop & RnB producer in Sheffield and the UK, but 1 of THE very best on the entire planet!
For those that do not understand how massive this achievement is in music. Most artists and producers would have more chances of winning the lottery than they would winning a Grammy Award, and in the BEST RnB album category as well, this is something for the history books. For us at B1X personally, we couldn't be any more amazed and proud of KVRIM, especially the members of our team that started their music journey with KVRIM and find themselves further inspired as KVRIM has shown everyone to forget the stars, it is actually possible to make it to the moon and beyond! As much as this moment is all about KVRIM, 1 has to take a moment to think. If it has taken this amazing talent a solid 10+ years before people have really started to see him and give him his flowers, can you imagine what this means for some of the other talents in Sheffield and what it means for the city in general.
To win an award as prestigious as the Grammy Award, you need to create music that resonates with people around the world, be constantly played on radio playlists internationally, generate high streaming numbers and sell out live shows and tours. In short, you need to create music that is so good and talked about so much, it just can not be ignored by anyone. This right here is some solid proof that KVRIM is the real deal and working with him is sure to bring future artists some form of success in their own careers.
This award came from his work on the Chris Brown 11:11 Deluxe album which we feel is 1 of the best albums Chris Brown has done in a long time. KVRIM has been recognised for his contribution as a co-writer and producer on the project, which also speaks volumes for the additional talent KVRIM has that people do not even know. We are very aware that KVRIM can get busy with a pen and this is evidence that his pen game is still on point as well as his ear for frequencies.
Take a moment to consider what this could mean for the economy of Sheffield if not just KVRIM but others such as KDot, Levelle, TENN, Deep Green, Skinz, TDX, Tee Dee, Coco, The Winter Soldier Productions and a long list of other talent on the cusp of breaking through the next wall of their careers after already achieving some very impressive achievements so far in their careers and still pushing for more. This gives more credibility to the artists of the past who opened the doors of their era to allow names mentioned above to continue taking things forward to now have KVRIM sat at the top of the pile to show us all, it IS POSSIBLE. How long will it be now before these talents do more shows, content and display other creativity that attracts visitors from everywhere to Sheffield to experience live shows and other productions. Hotels, Retail, Restaurants, Venues and other businesses would for sure benefit and proves even more so why Sheffield should really start to take the scene, the music and the talent seriously! What we have now on our own doorstep is incredible and should continue to be nurtured.
KVRIM a living and breathing example of what is possible for the past, current and next generation if they stick at it and do not give up on their dreams. If he carries on like this, we can imagine his old school are going to start looking into statues never mind wall art for KVRIM. The man has gone and won a Grammy Award and he was raised in Sheffield, let us all celebrate this! We have said this before, but the excitement is ever increasing for a KVRIM album and with the hits already behind him, you can anticipate that when he finally makes that move, it is going to be an audio movie!
