Since leaving Sheffield to purse his dream, first in Toronto Canada before finding himself in New York, KVRIM has worked with big names in the music industry including Chris Brown, Mario, Eric Bellinger, Mozzy, JAY1, Coi Leray Byron Messia, Fireboy DML plus many many more.
KVRIM is now 1 of only a few musician from Sheffield to have a platinum selling song following the footsteps of that well known band from Sheffield, The Arctic Monkeys. He is also the 1st from Sheffield to do this in the Urban music genre with the hit song 'When It Comes To You' with RnB sensation Fridayy. The fact Sheffield has such an incredible talent is something for them to celebrate as not many who chase the dream of being a musician will receive RIAA Platinum status for their song.
KVRIM is not breaking records for Sheffield in the Urban music genre, he is setting them! What he has achieved has not been achieved before by a Sheffield grown Urban musician and this story should be something that inspires many more that share the same dream to not give up on that dream!
His former School has recognised the achievements of their former student and had some artwork commissioned, by Sheffield artist Trik 9, to be done in their main hall to inspire their current and future students with KVRIM's story.
Who would have ever though that someone from Sheffield, and certainly from the environment KVRIM comes from within the Steel City, that we would be able to say someone within a genre of music many did not think would be a realistic career for someone in Sheffield, went on to prove all the doubters wrong while inspiring others to follow in his footsteps. When you consider that KVRIM is only of a few musicians to have a platinum song in Sheffield, and that he is the first person since the legendary Arctic Monkeys, it shines more light on how incredible of an achievement this is for an artist full stop, never mind from Sheffield City.
The hit song with Fridayy, When It Comes To You absolutely smashed streaming numbers to bits on mutiple platforms the moment people caught onto the tune. Since its release, KVRIM has traveled around the world with Fridayy watching the song be performed live as the entire crowed sings along which we can only imagine that feeling is 1 of the best feelings ever!

Although some are just getting to hear about this super talent, he has in fact has been making music from a very young age. KVRIM started music locally in the city among some of his close friends, many of which he still remains in contact with and have all done fairly well in their creative lanes within Sports and Music Entertainment, giving more light on how determined this group from little old Sheffield was to succeed. It would be safe to say that the majority, if not all, of his friends agree that Karim has definitely pushed the bar the highest out of everyone and got a resume that is incredibly strong and well deserved for all the work and sacrifice he put into making his dreams a reality. If you ask anyone that has grown up with KVRIM, I do not think you will find anyone that isn't proud of him and what he has done for himself while still remaining grounded and never forgetting where he comes from!
Needless to say, we at B1X love 'When It Comes To You' and it still remains a regular in all our playlists. If you have heard the song before, you already understand why. This hit is sitting with over 60 Million hits on the Youtube music video since its official release around a year ago and still picking up traffic. It looks like KVRIM along with Fridayy just made us a classic!
